Safety Watch Course (MCS-TR-HSE-22 )
 

Target Group
This program is designed to address the basic training requirements for personnel designated
as Safety Watch for confined space entry.


Prerequisites
 ITEMS TO BRING: All delegates must bring Photographic I.D. and PASSPORT only (original
or copy)
 HEALTH: All delegates will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire prior to course
commencement.

Training Objectives
  • The purpose of this course is to define a safe system of work for those personnel entering a
    confined space. This course defines the Roles and Responsibilities of those designated as
    Safety Watch for confined space entry.

Course Duration – 1 Day
Course Content Examination and Certification

Delegates will receive theoretical and practical knowledge in the following areas:-

- Pre-entry checks required
- Permit and certificate requirement
- The Emergency Plan and actions to be taken
- The Emergency Standby Equipment required
- Communication Methods and requirements
- Access Control system
- Personal Protective Equipment requirements



  • Certificate for `Safety Watch' will be issued on successful completion of the training programme. The validity of the certificate is two years.
