Awareness On Safe Excavation (MCS-TR-HSE-10)

 

Target Group
This Excavation Awareness Course is designed for anybody who will need to work/supervise in or around trenches, holes, or below-ground areas.


Prerequisites
 ITEMS TO BRING: All delegates must bring Photographic I.D. and PASSPORT only (original
or copy)
 HEALTH: All delegates will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire prior to course
commencement.

Training Objectives
  • The course will provide delegates with an awareness of all the key elements associated with Deep Excavation work.
  • It looks at the safety elements of ground support systems as well as considering the more practical aspects of working equipment such as ladders.
  • Delegates will also leave with an understanding of when an excavation becomes a confined space so that all health and safety matters are taken into consideration.

Hazardous Atmospheres

Emergency preparedness



  • Certification for `Awareness on Safe Excavation' - will be issued on successful completion of the training programme. The validity of the certificate is two years.
