Emergency First Aid At Work (MCS-TR-HSE-02)

 

Target Group
This accredited qualification is ideal for those already working or preparing to work within industry wishing to become an Emergency First Aider in the workplace.

Prerequisites
 ITEMS TO BRING: All delegates must bring Photographic I.D. and PASSPORT only (original
or copy)
 HEALTH: All delegates will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire prior to course
commencement.

Training Objectives
  • The aim of this training qualification is to equipped leaners with adequate knowledge, execute skills and positive attitude towards becoming a first aider at work
  • Objectively the learners will understands the significance of First Aid Emergency system at work, identifies roles and responsibilities of a first aider at work,responds and manages usual emergencies at work ranging from a casualty who becomes unresponsive, or have breathing difficulties, wounded and is bleeding and casualty sufferring shock, seizure and other minor injuries

Course Content Examination and Certification

Learners will gain adequate knowledge, practical skills in the following areas:
  • Roles and Responsibilties of the First Aider
  • Assessing an incident
  • Managing an Unresponsive casualty- yet Breathing
  • Managing an Unresponsive casualty- Not Breathing
  • Obstructed Airway (Choking)
  • Wounds and Bleeding
  • Shock and Seizures
  • Minor Injuries


  • The qualification is assessed via on-going oral and/or written questioning and practical demonstration.
  • All successful students will be awarded with an Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate, along with a wallet-sized plastic card detailing their qualification and validity
